Over $186,000 Raised for Fort Mac

logofooter_crea_EN Over $186,000 Raised So Far for Fort McMurray with $250,000+ on the Way

REALTORS® across the country have been moved by the images coming out of Fort McMurray and our community has responded to this disaster with an outpouring of generosity.

After only a week and a half, we have collectively raised over $186,000. The Canadian REALTORS Care® Foundation has cut an initial cheque for this full amount for the Canadian Red Cross. Tens of thousands more dollars have been pledged and are expected to be received shortly. In fact, earlier today we were blown away to learn that our American friends at the National Association of REALTORS® have committed to donating $250,000 to the cause!

Best regards,Cliff Iverson – President, The Canadian Real Estate Association

and Ralph Fyfe – Chair, Canadian REALTORS Care® Foundation
